Dave Schlagel, Pastor
Pastor Schlagel came to Marquette Manor in January of 2010. Before coming to Marquette, he served as an associate pastor in Oregon for six years. Prior to that, he served as a Christian school administrator and as a Bible college dean in Wisconsin.
Pastor Schlagel is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and holds graduate degrees from Stanford University and Bob Jones University. He was an officer in the Navy’s submarine force for many years before sensing God’s call to full-time Christian ministry. Pastor Schlagel and his wife, Becky, both grew up in rural Minnesota. Jeff Carrillo, Song Leader
Jeff Carrillo came to Marquette Manor in 2007. Since 2008 he has served in various teaching and music ministries including song leading, adult Bible studies, choir, Sforzando String Camp, and Junior Church.
He earned an M.Div. (2001) and B.A. (1994) in Bible from Bob Jones University. Jeff's passion is teaching God's Word and serving Him. Jeff and his wife Teresa have four children. Contact Jeff.
Rachel Potter, Church Secretary
Rachel came to Marquette in 2016 from the faculty of South India Baptist Bible College. She has several years of experience in office management and ministry. Rachel enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and she has a soft spot for internationals. Contact Rachel.
Brandon Rygh, Youth Director
Brandon is a home-grown leader at Marquette. He is a graduate of MMBA and has been a church member for more than 20 years. Brandon has degrees in public safety and administration which make him both a great youth leader and a great firefighter and EMS responder with the Lockport Township Fire Protection District. Brandon loves to spend time at home with his wife, Esther, and dog, Rupert.
Don Sherwin, School Administrator
Don Sherwin came to Marquette in 2015 to serve as School Administrator. He has nearly 30 years of experience in Christian education, both as a teacher and as an administrator. Don and his wife Beth are the parents of six children. Contact Don.
Susie Sherwin, Business Manager
Susie's detail orientation and can-do attitude make her a joy to interact with in our business office. Susie arrived at Marquette in 2019 after managing an assisted living facility for several years. She has a degree from Bob Jones University, and she enjoys crafts, music, and cutting red tape. Contact Susie.
